Your Day-by-Day Journey
Day 1: Nairobi – Mount Longonot – Lake Naivasha
Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Travel through the spectacular Great Rift Valley, stopping at a scenic viewpoint before arriving at Mount Longonot National Park.
Embark on a guided hike to the crater rim, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the volcanic crater, Lake Naivasha, and the surrounding Rift Valley landscape. Along the trail, you may spot zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species.
After lunch, transfer to your lakeside resort for check-in and spend the evening relaxing while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of Lake Naivasha.
Day 2: Hell's Gate National Park Adventure
After breakfast, spend the day exploring Hell's Gate National Park, one of Kenya's most unique parks where visitors can walk or cycle alongside wildlife. Choose between a guided game drive or an optional cycling safari while spotting giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, warthogs, and numerous bird species.
Continue with a guided walk through the spectacular Hell's Gate Gorge, famous for its towering cliffs, geothermal activity, and dramatic rock formations including the Devil's Kitchen and Devil's Bedroom.
Enjoy a picnic lunch before an optional visit to the Olkaria Geothermal Spa, where you can relax in naturally heated mineral pools before returning to your resort for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy an optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha, where you can spot hippos, African Fish Eagles, kingfishers, pelicans, and other waterbirds. You may also choose to visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and antelopes.
