Your Day-by-Day Journey
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or the airport in Nairobi. Travel through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, stopping at a scenic viewpoint before continuing to the world-renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive at your safari camp in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy your first exciting game drive, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, and other wildlife across the reserve's endless plains.
Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the magnificent Maasai Mara National Reserve with unlimited game viewing. Visit the famous Mara River, where hippos and Nile crocodiles can often be seen, and, during the Great Wildebeest Migration (July–October), witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the river.
The reserve is home to the Big Five, over 450 bird species, and an incredible diversity of wildlife, making it one of Africa's premier safari destinations.
Optional activities include a Hot Air Balloon Safari or a visit to a traditional Maasai Village for an authentic cultural experience.
Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you leave the Maasai Mara before traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch before an afternoon game drive in one of Kenya's best wildlife parks. Famous for its thriving population of black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, lions, leopards, and thousands of flamingos (seasonal), Lake Nakuru offers exceptional wildlife viewing and birdwatching opportunities.
Dinner and overnight at your lodge or hotel.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, offering one last opportunity to spot rhinos, giraffes, flamingos, and other wildlife.
