Your Day-by-Day Journey
Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or Arusha Airport before driving to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy an exciting afternoon game drive, where you'll search for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, baboons, flamingos (seasonal), and the park's famous tree-climbing lions.
Later, transfer to your campsite or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an optional stop at the historic Olduvai Gorge, one of the world's most important archaeological sites.
Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive, where you'll begin exploring its vast plains, home to lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and countless other wildlife species.
Dinner and overnight at your campsite or lodge.
Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Safari
Spend the day exploring the spectacular Serengeti National Park on a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Search for the Big Five, witness the incredible Great Wildebeest Migration (seasonal), and enjoy outstanding opportunities to photograph predators, herbivores, and over 500 bird species.
Return to your campsite or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive before traveling to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater for a rewarding safari, where you may spot black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, zebras, hippos, hyenas, and flamingos around the crater lake.
Later, ascend the crater and transfer to your campsite or lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Ngorongoro – Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Arusha, enjoying scenic views of Tanzania's highlands along the way.
