Your Day-by-Day Journey
Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or the airport in Nairobi. Journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at a viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views before continuing to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive at your safari lodge or camp in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, enjoy your first exciting game drive, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, cheetahs, zebras, and many other wildlife species.
Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the spectacular plains of the Maasai Mara with a professional safari guide. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the reserve while searching for the Big Five, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, antelopes, and over 450 bird species.
Visit the famous Mara River, where the annual Great Wildebeest Migration takes place between July and October. You may also choose to visit a traditional Maasai Village or enjoy an optional Hot Air Balloon Safari at sunrise.
Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive as you leave the Maasai Mara before traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch before an afternoon game drive in this renowned wildlife sanctuary, famous for its black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, and seasonal flamingos.

Day 4: Explore Lake Nakuru National Park
Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot wildlife as the park comes to life. Continue exploring Lake Nakuru's acacia woodlands, lakeshore, and open grasslands while searching for rhinos, giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, and an incredible variety of birdlife.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge or choose an optional excursion to Menengai Crater or Hyrax Hill Museum for additional sightseeing.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and begin your return journey to Nairobi. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving in the afternoon.
