After registration and lunch, begin your trek through lush forests, bamboo, and heath land to Old Moses Camp (3,300m). In the evening, enjoy a short acclimatization hike to approximately 3,600m, offering panoramic views of the Laikipia Plateau before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, hike to Likii Viewpoint (4,001m) for spectacular views of Mount Kenya's majestic peaks—Batian and Nelion—as well as the beautiful Likii Valley. This acclimatization hike helps prepare your body for higher elevations while providing excellent photography opportunities.
Return to Old Moses Camp for lunch, followed by an afternoon of rest or an optional nature walk before dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Old Moses Camp – Shipton's Camp
Following an early breakfast, trek through the scenic Mackinder Valley to Shipton's Camp (4,200m). The trail passes alpine moorlands filled with giant lobelias and groundsels, with breathtaking views of Mount Kenya's rugged peaks becoming more impressive as you gain altitude.
Arrive at Shipton's Camp in the afternoon to relax, acclimatize, and prepare for the summit attempt. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
