Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha (Mount Longonot Hike)
Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, either from your hotel or the airport. Along the way, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for panoramic photos before proceeding to Mount Longonot National Park.
Upon arrival, check in to your accommodation before starting the Mount Longonot hike. The trek begins at the park gate and ascends to the crater rim, offering stunning views of Lake Naivasha. The hike takes about two hours to reach the top, with a round trip of approximately four hours. Along the trail, you may encounter antelopes, zebras, and buffaloes from a distance.
After the hike, enjoy a delicious lunch before heading to Dave Nest Resort, a beautiful lodge offering views of Lake Naivasha. Spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the serene environment.

Day 2: Full-Day Adventure at Hell’s Gate National Park
After an early breakfast, set off for a full-day exploration of Hell’s Gate National Park, carrying packed lunch for convenience.
This is the only national park in Kenya where visitors are allowed to walk and cycle among wildlife. You have the option to rent a bicycle at the park entrance or explore via game drive. Expect to see giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes, and impalas as you move through the dramatic landscapes of the park.
Midway through the day, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot while watching playful baboons and monkeys in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, explore the Hell’s Gate Gorge, where you will see fascinating rock formations such as the Devil’s Bedroom, Devil’s Shower, and Devil’s Kitchen. Your guide will also share insights into the Masai history and cultural significance of the area.
There is an optional visit to the geothermal spa, where you can take a dip in the warm natural pools before returning to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Naivasha, where you can enjoy optional activities such as boat riding to Crescent Island, fishing, or bird watching. This region is home to diverse bird-life, hippos, buffaloes, and water-bucks, offering great photography opportunities.
If time allows, you may visit Lake Oloiden before departing for Nairobi in the afternoon. Arrive in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your 3-day adventure safari.
